I want background noise but I don’t like music anymore, everything that I once listened to and loved, I can’t connect to anymore

anntpy asked: Hi..hi.. So impress see u hv so many collection of hippie cloths.. May I noe where to buy ?? Coz I gonna attend hippie theme party coming in october..but I hv no idea how to wear hippie dress in good way..

Hi there! Thanks for your question. I buy my clothes online or at 2nd hand shops, charity shops or swapping with other people. If you want to dress like a hippie for a party or whatever, use it as a chance to express yourself, natural is beautiful. Think: flowers, headband, beads, loose shirt, flares, tie dye, fringes, Indian clothes are great, floral, accessorize! colourful, earthy, peace and love.

Just randomly today my heart really really hurts. Some kind of unexplainable longing for something I can’t have so much it physically aches, a homesickness not for a place but for a feeling, lost. Oww. Fuck it hurts.

5 Things I Always Wear

I thought I’d do a little post about things that I am never seen without.

Please feel free  to do a response post on your 5 things - I would love to see.

1. Black eye liner: I’ve been wearing black kohl since I was around 16 when I was in my gothic phase. The amount I wear has certainly toned down since then, but it’s something I don’t leave the house without. Bit of eye liner and mascara and I’m ready to face people- it’s my war paint!image

2. This Necklaceimage

I worked out the other day I have been now wearing this for ONE THIRD OF MY LIFE! That’s crazy! I’ve changed the string maybe 2 or 3 times but even then I didn’t take it off, I just let the old string fuse into the new one. Keep it on for weddings and everything. And probably will for my own. It’s made from an old earring I found of my mum’s. I love it. I don’t think I would be me without it at this point.

3. Blue Toenails My toesnails are always painted with this shade of blue that I call ‘Happy Blue’. I’m not entirely sure why there are all these things I never go without.. they are just quirks that make you look how you do!

4. Rings I’m in love with turquoise and silver rings. I’ve had the middle one on since I got it for my 18th birthday! The stones have long since fell out but I ended up painting it in with my happy blue nail varnish. I’ve had some gorgeous ones that have fallen off and lost but these are the main ones for the past several months.

5. Plugs (and other earrings)image

My ear stretchers are 14mm, it’s not even that long ago since I did this really.. It was amazingly fun and addictive. I initially told myself I was going to stop at 8mm. Hardly anyone in Hong Kong has stretched ears unlike UK and I don’t mind people having a look, especially kids, ‘mummy, mummy, that lady has holes in her ears!’

They also make for very good storage ;)

Those are my 5 things! What are yours? Or am I just super boring that I never change?
